No gimmies, everyone must putt-out.

Each member will start the year with the opening handicap as agreed at AGM.
Only events within the society count towards any +/- to the opening handicap.
If your handicap changes throughout the year through other non Society events it is therefore excluded
New scoring system
Winner per tournament will be cut 1 shot regardless of how many points.
Each player will be cut 0.3 per shot over 36 points. For example, someone shooting 41 points would be cut 1.5 shots (2.5 if they won)
Under 28 = +0.3

Minimum 4 players to score points.

Final scores are based on the players 4 Stableford scores.

All new entrants to membership will play off their My England Golf handicap. If a player has no official handicap, it will then be decided by the handicap commitee.

You must adhere to the usual golf rules and regulations at all times. The society is above all meant to be fun but there is a lot of competition between 20 or so golfers. Some take it less seriously than others and that is understandable however tournaments are won or lost on 1 or 2 points, even count back!
